Capital Scam formed in 2004 in a shitty town named Beaumont T.X. by former members of Dead dogs,Destruction League and the Sex Dolls. After playing a hand full of shows and recording the first album (Nuclear War 2005) the band relocated to Austin,TX . We went through a couple of line up changes and Soon after a 7” was released (Quarantined 2007) then a full length album (Smash Your TV 2008). Currently the band is writing a new E.P. for 2009. out "maybe summer~ish". An east coast tour is in the works with Dirty South Revolutionaries from Charlotte, NC in late April and May. More touring will be in the works for 2009....So consider yourself warned, Capital Scam will soon be drinking at a dive bar near you.
